Serinus@lemmy.world 3 days agoIf it helps, part of that joke was that it should always be assumed your 16/f/ca was always 43/m, and it had a bit of an “I am Sparticus” feel to it.
On the Internet, we’re all 16/f/ca.
Meanwhile, I was 11/f/nj, which became 14/f/nj.
Yes, there were creeps.
I did actually make friends with a real life 12-year-old from North Carolina, though, so that seemed pretty cool (we spoke on the phone a number of times--he was definitely a 12ish-year-old boy).
