Huh? I was being funny with the “safe” comment. Also, they weren’t protesting tax breaks for billionaires, we’re they? They were protesting environmental legislation.
I do sympathize with this moment, however.
Comment on Paris, France
AviAdi@suppo.fi 5 hours agoOh fuck off. They were protesting environmental legislation that hurt regular working class people that contribute less than 1% to global warming. While the same government fucks were giving tax breaks to corporations and billionaires that contribute 99%. “THIS DOESN’T SEEM SAFE” 😂😂😂😀 Are you an American? I wouldn’t be surprised you pro-pedophiles would be put off by revolutionary action.

They were protesting environmental legislation targeting the working class. It wasn’t targeting the true polluters and it sure as hell wasn’t going to curb climate change. The government tried to use the excuse of climate change as a way to tax the working class more. Let’s be clear the neoliberal French government would never pass true environmental legislation because it would threaten business and elite interests!
It was additional taxation disguised as environmental legislation
Actually, a lot of people were protesting tax cuts for billionaires; it was just a big-tent movement.
Most Americans aren’t pro pedo. They’re just uninformed as shit. You would be too if you lived there.
They sure vote like they are though…
Anyone who thinks any group of people are pro-pedo (apart from pedophiles) is an idiot.

I mean something can be not safe and based at the same time. Revolution is often not safe, doesn’t mean it’s not worthwhile
