I’ve only eaten at an Applebee’s once, and I assume Chili’s is the Tex Mex equivalent. Who’s eating at these places? The food is shit and it isn’t really cheaper than other places

I visited the US a few years back and wanted to do what the local do so we went to Applebee’s. I had the most boring steak ever with a bunch of flavourless sides and later on ended up in A&E after I had a violent allergic reaction with an additive that is illegal in virtually every other country.
