That wasn’t a wealth tax though? That was an income tax and only on the top bracket. Very, very different things.

There’s a pretty straightforward solution to that, as well: Tax unrealized capital gains as income the moment they’re used as collateral. If you can spend it, it’s income, you fucking cheater.
