Where I’m from it’s not normal for most parks, but very normal for the parks that are convenient for the homeless to live in

Is trash in public parks normal? I’ve never seen more than like one wine bottle on the ground or a candy wrapper, and even that’s quite rare.

In the US at least, yes, it’s very normal. The oddity would be a park or spot in nature without a bunch of trash.

I have been to countries that make the US look trashless by comparison though. You should see some of the roadsides I saw. You could not even see the ground for the massive sea of plastic bottles.
