Chuck Schumer’s seat was won January 2025 and he won’t be up for another election until 2028, so this post is essentially useless for all purposes except attacking the party as a whole before the 2026 midterm elections.

This post is about Chuck’s role as Senate leader specifically, not as a senator. When the new congress is in season next year, he intends to continue to be the chief spokesperson of the Democratic party.
Not useless per se, but the position is elected by the other senators within the party, not by the people. So if you don’t want him representing the Democratic party to the White House and the Senate, you should start calling your representatives and complaining now.

That might be a sound argument if instead of attacking Schumer it was promoting literally anybody else who might run for the position.
