___hypothermia in most cases, believe it or not. Without your skin to insulate you, it only takes about 30 minutes. However, without your skin, I’m sure it feels like much longer.

That doesn’t sound plausible. I’d guess blood loss or infection would kill you. Unless it was - 40 outside, but then having skin wouldn’t have saved you…
