but soooo fucking easy to go through a half-bag’s worth of mini candybars and other assorted goodies from a halloween stash without even realizing.

You know what you got me there. For some reason individually wrapped candies are another thing. Maybe because one doesn’t at all seem like a reasonable serving size or something. Like…who just has a singular candy? Meanwhile snack size bags of chips at least have multiple chips.
