massive_bereavement@fedia.io 17 hours agoAs food production becomes more and more centralized in macro farms, resource over utilization and environment saturation become a larger problem.
Because we're moving away from a large number of producers and manufacturers to a hyperconsolidated vertical food manufacturer, this will become the norm, so will price gauging.

Small-scale meat production would use as much water as large-scale, I can only imagine. And that’s a good thing. We don’t want to get sick from tainted meat.
