It’s not the kind of statement people just drop, almost always is it a direct reply to people telling them how to spend (or not spend,) their money.

That’s why there’s a distinction between “my money” and “your money” and “other people’s money.”

You don’t get to decide what I place value on; just as I don’t get to decide your values for you.
