No vitals for 10 minutes doesn’t make sense
Anyone without vitals for 10 minutes would he dead
They should have still had vitals with a heart attack
Stories like this have a habit of expanding as they’re told.
That said, I had a coworker in his 50s who continued to work after having a near life ending cardiac event. He was the company CTO but couldn’t afford to retire because he couldn’t afford private insurance.
Faking not not having vitals is an instant write up and automatic termination.

If CPR is keeping your blood flowing for 10 mins then you don’t have vitals. CPR stops when your vitals comes back or when they pronounce your dead-dead.
