The revolutionary government did continue the former reactionary policy towards gay people and imprisoned them, but this was corrected and overturned through the newly implemented democratic system. Today, Cuba is one of the most LGBTQIA+ countries on the planet thanks to their popular Family Code.
That’s not what the OP claims. And they are not talking about today’s Cuba, so you might as well tell me how ancient Greece viewed it, equally irrelevant.
