arrow74@lemmy.zip 6 days agoI’ve only flown maybe 6 times from Europe, 2 domestic/Schengen and the rest international. I’m only counting the times I started at an airport within Europe.
So far never had my carry on weighed. France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, and Portugal

Maybe it’s recent? My understanding is that it has to do with overall weight and fuel costs, but I could be totally wrong. I went to Spain in 2023 and I’m pretty sure they weighed them then, but not 100% positive. This summer was to Scandinavia and they did both ways.
