The bollards aren’t marking anything theyre protecting the hydrant from cars
That’ll depend on where you live. Without painted curbs I’d rely on the physical indicators. In this case the bollards in front of it. Car is outside the shown limits so I’m guessing this is legally parked and they just wanted a video.

Absolutely 100% not legally parked. Whether curbs are marked or not, you can’t park that close to a hydrant. 15ft is usually the standard minimum across the US.

Well there’s your problem, your country doesn’t standardise shit well enough.
And there should still be indicators even if the rule is 15 feet. Someone from another state or country might not know, but a yellow line is a very clear indication.

I only said usually because I don’t live everywhere. Every state/major city I looked up mentioned 15ft. Also, how about just not being an ass and don’t park ANYWHERE near a hydrant, law or not.

As a country bumpkin who nearly only ever encounters hydrants at things like schools this was exactly my confusion. I’m not arguing the legality wherever this is but my conclusion matches yours
Hell, I just looked at the street view of my nearest town and there are street parking lines within a body length of a hydrant.
This firefighter is wasting time to be a dick to the driver at the expense of his crew and wherever the fire is
