    And yet a few days ago the brutal terrorism courts that killed people for owning books were dismantled and all previous decisions nullified. And yet the Kurds and Turkey are no longer viciously fighting each other.

    I’m not going to say the theocratic and sexist new government is good, but it’s sure as fuck better than Assad.

      They’re setting the streets on fire as we speak, while the jihadi “security forces” open fire on protesters. And they’re Sunni protesters, FFS.
