Comment on free time
Sc00ter@lemmy.zip 1 week agoOh im totally here for all that. Id love to play more video games with my kids. Thats mostly their mom’s choice that they enroll in musical theatre/tennis/tap dance/etc. and theres minimal unstructured time
They regularly ask if they can just stay home and play Lets Go Eevee or Mario Kart with me.

Yeah my son gets one extracurricular at a time. It’s too much for kids to fill their schedules like that. They need unstructured time and boredom

Mines for multiple children, so when ones at event, the other parent is on full kid duty. I agree and I support bored kids
