Mika@piefed.ca 5 weeks agoApple is not a competitor for anthropic/openai, it’s competitor to nvidia. Latest mac studio is very local AI capable, with 256gb uram and upcoming 512gb, while not terrible inference speed.
They are selling shovels, basically.
