The game Iām playing has a very steep increase in items I need to collect to get rewards. I started off needing 5 gems to get a reward, the next one needs 540 trillion.

Fortunately not the very next level, there were a few unlocks in between. But it went very quickly from scrounging every last gem to 100 million not being worth picking up.
