Because the goal isn’t to create a game, it’s to make an interactive movie or at best a “passive game”. You give commands and then you watch your character try and do them. To give them some credit it’s not the worst idea in the world, it’s miles better than the game world shit Google tried to do. But knowing Microslop they’ll fuck up the implementation in a spectacular fashion.
