Yeah, i read 2 of the books and had the 3rd purchases before I gave up, because it was so stupid and dumb. felt like I was reading teenage fan fiction of the tv show.

I hope one day you’re able to find out what’s making you so angry. I went through a phase of taking myself too seriously, and only reading “serious” literature, only listening to music that was “pure” enough, etc… Then I figured out that sometimes you mix a little comfort food into your diet of fine dining, and life gets a little brighter. It’s not about stopping being critical, but looking at the why and what that criticism covers.
Corporate bullshit sucks, and always will. But a series of books written by a couple of (previously) nobodies just seems like a strange target for this much ire. Totally fine if its not your jam, though.
