Yeah, my wife swears by it, but I’m lucky to be able to fall back asleep really easily, so it doesn’t bother me much to be woken up.

lookitsjustin@lemmy.ca 14 hours agoOh man, I couldn’t live without DnD. Putting aside emergencies, it’d drive me nuts just receiving various notifications without DnD on.
My phone is set such that if there is a true emergency, my phone will allow a call through on the third attempt. Only ever needed to be used once when my father passed in the middle of the night.

Same, but second attempt. My wife and friends know this and honestly everyone else I love lives far enough away I can’t help right away either.
