Exactly. There is too much focus on getting enough to survive that no one can live. And any place that people can meet now costs money. Money that goes to everything else. No one can afford to be friendly.

Yeah, this also feels to me like the main solvable thing: build lots of housing, preferably social, preferably where young people want to live.
