The draft will never occur in the U.S. because we already have way to many people in the military. They don’t need to have a draft.

Now if we made education and healthcare accessible to everyone like we should, we might not have as many people volunteering to go.

Our military would grow to like 10x the current size if we had forced conscription like Israel or Korea.

We couldn’t afford it.

Remember when everyone said Trump couldn’t win the election*? And since when has not having the money for war stopped the US from going to war? They just borrow against their kids.

Although I will point out that Trump and Elon bragged about rigging the election, that’s besides the point.

    If you think “it can’t happen here”, with regards to a draft, you’re an idiot who has their head in the sand. Too many “it can’t happen here” things have been happening.
