I mean, they did originally only intend for it to be 2 seasons but it got super popular so they continued making it even after they clearly ran out of ideas.

Just stop tho. If you don’t have ideas, then don’t pretend like you do. For years!
You don’t turn 2 seasons into 5 without either making new ideas, or thinking “yeah, I gotta stop. This is nothing.” And, if the new ideas are bad, then start thinking, “yeah, I gotta stop. This is nothing.”
