faythofdragons@slrpnk.net 1 month agoBecause “youth crisis center” is a polite term for juvie rehab. They work with kids that committed nonviolent crimes. The NIMBYs and business owners swore up and down that it’d lead to prowling youth gangs and shit, but it hasn’t.

I’m honestly still baffled. It’s not as though they’re congregating to commit crime. If they’re in juvie rehab, they’re actively working to improve themselves. Top 1% nimbyness
