I always find it odd how people take this kinda thing as an insult. “I can’t read what you wrote because it has too many errors” is, like, one of the first things you encounter when learning to write. It’s just a simple statement of fact. Cool it.
Be a pedant about your own spelling first.

Yeah I don’t get it. I didn’t call them stupid. It’s not that they didn’t know how to spell anything, they clearly just mistyped a decent number of letters. It just needed a quick proofread.

Okay? Everyone should proofread their stuff. Why does it matter If the person who says so makes a typo? They should proofread too. Proofread your stuff, or accept that people might not understand what you’re trying to say when you don’t.
