If anything Obamacare is a textbook example of what I meant - he entered office with a Democrat majority in both Houses and the Supreme Court and a huge public mandate to get it done, and still ended up abandoning all his stated plans for a system where big business interests got their entrenched positions solidified by law.

It would be wrong to call Obama a fascist, but he did the opposite of nothing to dismantle the oligarchy that lead to where we are now.
