What changed is not the risk, just how we perceive it. Not long ago living under fascism was literally considered a worse fate than death

I mean, there are face tracking cameras everywhere and everyone has a camera in their pocket. Being anonymous is very difficult

Granted, but people were also just less afraid of putting their face to their actions and being “hunted” by the enemy
