starman2112@sh.itjust.works 1 week agoNow do illness and deaths related to foodborne disease. If recalls were a good proxy for the outcomes people care about, then the best course of action for public health would be to put a stop to all recalls.

The worst years in recent history were 2011 with 33 deaths and 2024 with 19 deaths. We’re at 2 so far this year. Illness, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a bad year for.
