The actor in question likes the smell of his own farts so much that he started to believe he really was the bad ass he acted in his movies. But he’s a joke, really. And lazy. This scene in particular demonstrates this. It isn’t so much that it isn’t braced, but how casually it is swapped in a supposed dangerous situation. You simply wouldn’t handle a real weapon that way. If he deliberately leaned into the lameness for the yucks that would be one thing. But, no. He’s serious. And that makes it really funny.

It took me FOREVER to figure out what’s wrong, guys. And I felt SO STUPID afterwards lol. Like JEEZ what kind of IDIOT doesn’t see what’s wrong right away. They probably go to the comments to see if someone will tell them. LAWL. Oh man. Yeah.
Well anyway. Guess I’ll leave now. BYE!!
Spoiler
Ok fine. All I can see is the butt of the gun isn’t being braced by his shoulder, so when he shoots it the recoil is going to make it fly backwards and out of his hands. That’s all I’ve got. Idk. Dude’s ambidextrous otherwise.

He might be ambidextrous but his gun sure ain’t. Unless it’s one of these weird bullpups that eject cartridges downwards (it’s not) in one of these positions casings will impact his face or arm

You’d be surprised how little recoil there really is with 5.56. It’s a bigger priority to get solid cheek weld and keeping the head upright which often means that most of the stock is not actually in contact with the shoulder, just the corner.
Some setups will even just have a pad on the buffer tube, or they’ll use a brace that isn’t meant to be shouldered.
