You took an opportunity to say ‘whoops, thanks’ and moved on, but turned it into ‘watch me dig myself into a hole’. I have no horse in this race, and I was empathetic until you got aggressive, but then you just kept going.
I’m disabled, too. That doesn’t mean you get a free pass at being an asshole just because there’s a screen in front of you instead of a person. Own your shit.
People making comments correcting tiny mistakes in others typing online is smug and irritating bullshit. I don’t know what shit you think I’m not owning. I used an apostrophe when I shouldn’t have. I confess to my horrible sin. But I also think that guy pointing it out was just being a smug cunt and in no way helpful.
I also own not caring about your opinion on it. I’ve never claimed to be a flawless saint, and am absolutely happy to tell people to fuck off when they pop in to be obnoxious.
