Because they (not OP) are in the military and are supposed to be clean due to testing. It is obviously impossible for them to catch something from OP die unknown reasons and thus the condom is obviously optional. Not even taking about risking conception.

Using a condom helps prevent passing on STI’s, why would not wearing one help this situation?
Also, anyone who tries to pressure you into doing something like this is a piece of shit and you should run 200 miles the other way.

Absolutely. Somebody trying to insist they dont need a condom is definitely the kind of person you need to wear a condom with.
