Doomsider@lemmy.world 3 days agoThat just it, their goal is not to become independent. They wouldn’t be propping up the entire western world right now if they wanted independence.
Nowadays China has produced more billionaires than the US for the third straight year in a row with no signs of slowing down.

They don’t want to be dominated by the West. Propping up the West makes the West dependent. Still, China could stop propping at any time.
