dabaldeagul@feddit.nl 3 weeks agoAdding weight for that would decrease range, maneuverability, speed, and payload capacity. At the same time, you’d need much more precision to enter through the created hole. While suffering from reduced maneuverability. So this seems rather impractical. Mine-laying drones would make more sense to me.

A strong net wouldn’t be burned away that quickly. A regular explosive would still clear it away faster.

Yeah these drones have to just fly straight at the vehicle and explode. If they hover around for a bit they will just get shot down by rifles.
