i guess there were rumors he was working on another season. and i suppose it was finished in a way, but the ending also felt to me like a setup for a completely new direction. but who knows. david lynch probably didn’t really think about a greater story arc anyway, didn’t seem like his process.

I used to follow him on Twitter. I’m pretty sure he said in a post, it wouldn’t happen.
He was working on side projects.
His weather show and music with some singer.
I think he was fully retired and just looking to take it easy.

apparently he had one more series in the works, although not related to twin peaks
