UnRelatedBurner@sh.itjust.works 10 months agocall me a wierdo, but I kinda like this. I get a “deleted by creator” message, but I can still read it. It’s like “dang I was late, what did they want tho?”
If the user wants to delete a comment, that should be respected. Even though it can satiate curiosity, it also removes peoples ability to rescind comments they may change their mind about later.
This is certainly functionality that should not be kept.
You are right, it’s also probably healthy for the databases. Well, it was fun while it lasted

I don’t mind as long as it’s communicated to the user more clearly. Nothing’s ever really deleted on the internet anyway.
