I think it really depends on the truck This is all IMHO: Something like a Colorado or Ranger is both reasonable enough and more truck than most people need. You can move a sofa with those. Stock Silverados or F-150s are also fine but do you really need something that big? Lifting or squatting those or getting anything that is bigger than those but isn’t but a legit work truck is stupid.

That also depends, I have a 2000 silverado 1500. It’s stock v6 but has a short cab/long bed. It is dwarfed by modern full size trucks and roughly the same size as today’s colorados, just with more bed space. I do not daily drive it (it’s a hand me down I have my own car). I have been able to help many friends of friends that I am fortunate enough to now call friends myself. Shoutout to my turkish buddies I get lunch with sometimes 🤤 turkish food mmm
