But at the same time be prepared to pay more for things because we all know that corporations will pass along the better wages to the consumer. God forbid the ceo make less and not making record profit

Even if you didn’t intend for that comment to come across that way, just know that the reasoning of “prices are going up because of minimum wage” is the go-to talking point of the “conservatives”. Magically the wealth disparity, negligible marginal tax rate on billionaires, or record profits never seem to be mentioned.
