    I am not okay with religious groups taking over the government to force us into religion.

    How many of them do you think justify it to themselves by saying “We have to do this, because if we don’t, atheists will take over the government and outlaw religion.”

    Embodying the stereotype of an angry, condescending atheist is the opposite of helpful.

        I didn’t defend shit. I criticized you for being the only person to proselytize in the comments of a joke. I even felt bad about it, at first.

        You won’t be the guy that stands up

        I stand up for people letting others live their lives. Trying to ban religion is barely any better than forcing people to follow a religion, and significantly less likely to succeed.

        You’re a fool pretending to be an atheist

        The only thing you need to do to be an atheist is not believe in a deity. You have some weirdly dogmatic views for an atheist.

        I’m old enough to know when there’s no point in arguing with someone. Feel free to take the last word, if it makes you feel better.
