I found the same image from April, 2024. A lot of articles about it from this week, but also a few here and there, including one post on 9Gag (wow, haven’t heard that name in a looong time), from April 2024.
So, if it’s real, it’s not recent.

They’re acting like they’re so concerned for the integrity of public libraries, but this is transparently an attempt to manufacture consent to defund public libraries.
It’s so obvious if you pay any attention at all, they’ve been telegraphing this for months if not years…
