It was on an old webcomic. I think it was Any Day Happy Day.
There are so many ways to do it. You have an alien robot who dies, then comes back as a ghost. Or an Alien Ghost in the Machine. Or a ghost alien has sex with a robot and their child is half ghost alien, half robot. Or an alien… fuck, I’m getting dizzy. Need to go huff more cough medicine.
