Yes, but in court, cops are given the assumption of higher accuracy. So they logically should be held to a higher standard.

No matter how much we expect/hope/demand cops to be superhuman, they will never be.

That’s not superhuman. It’s training. Before radar guns were so easy to get and such, they trained cops on estimating speed. And then they tested them to ensure their accuracy before letting them write speeding tickets. But now… they get the bare min training.
