Comment on Ghosted After a Job Interview? Report the Company

Every company does this. So this will be great if you want a database of companies that exist.
When you get a job, do you go back and notify all the companies that you interviewed with? Because I don’t.
My advice: get as many interviews as you can. When you’re done, forget about them and move on to the next one.

When I get a job, I do notify those that gave me an offer. If a company has already rejected me then of course I’m not emailing them back to say “yeah, well in rejecting you!”

And the ones that didn’t?

Well then I’m still waiting for them to carryout their side of the bargain. I submitted an application and/or attended an interview and am waiting for them to make a decision. Obviously that ball’s not in my cart otherwise I’d just tell them “I’m working here now!”

Can be a surprisingly effective tactic sometimes.
Just show up for work, start working. Later, complain to HR that you don’t seem to have gotten your onboarding materials, and your first paycheck is late. With a little luck, the HR person will think you were omitted due to an error in the system and they’ll manually add you. And then, congrats – you’ve got a job!

But it’s not, because you got a job, and thus are no longer interested/eligible.
