Making RAM requires billions of dollars in investment. That’s why there’s so few manufacturers worldwide. I highly doubt that Valve could afford it.

They’re trying, but they have a lot of catching up to do.
Though fingers crossed that they do catch up and they did actually release their first GPU this year, The Lisuan LX 7G100, costing around 500$. Performance should rival rtx 3060, but there aren’t any third party reviews. pcmag.com/…/china-just-made-a-gpu-thats-powerful-…
