IT requires constant learning. If you live to fool around with new tech, go for it.
If you hate learning new things and just want to settle on doing one thing your whole life, IT is not for you.
Whatever you’re doing at the start of your IT career is not what you’ll be doing by the time you retire. In fact, you’ll probably change your entire job/role at least a dozen times throughout your career as technologies change and evolve.
Also, learn Linux. If you don’t like the command line, there’s no future for you. All the things are moving to Linux (in business). It’s where all the big money is too.

I’ve been work from home for 10 years now and ive gotten numerous promotions. I do travel a good bit (once every other month) where I get face to face time with coworkers, but that certainly hasn’t always been the case. I guess what I’m trying to say is that info graphic is absolutely bullshit.
