Such wastage.
It’s so easy to slice around the pit to split in half and then crush out the flesh. No left behind bits. It comes out as a few lumps and then paste.

As in you want to eat just ‘some’ and save the rest? You wrap it up or containerize it just like you would with any other method. As in you what to ‘just’ eat avocado, as in not with or on anything? You squeeze it, bite off chunks of flesh, like with anything else, and then squeeze the pasty parts into your slavering maw. Nomnomnom. Easy.
