Jokes aside, The Mothman Prophecies might be one of the worst books I’ve ever read that somehow translated into a pretty solid movie, mostly because it ignores 90% of it. The majority of the book is just John Keel rambling about ultraterrestrials, and boy is it a slog to get through.
