Sure, any state can set their own minimum wage ABOVE the Federal Minimum Wage, and they can even choose to not have a minimum wage, but they can’t have a minimum wage LOWER than the Fed. If they choose to not have a minimum wage at all, then it automatically defaults to the Federal Minimum Wage.

The minimum wage has been raised twice since 1997, the last time in 2009, for a total increase of $2.10, in almost 30 years.

Chris Rock said that getting paid minimum wage, is your boss telling you he’d pay you even less, but it’s AGAINST THE LAW!
