Comment on Why do cooks and chefs cook in base 5 increments? For example setting the off at 350 , 375, 450 and so on. Is there a reason for this or is this how it always has been done?

Incidentally, I always set my oven to a weird number because it has a digital screen which lets me do that. I paid for those that trailing 1,2,3,4,6,7,8 and 9, so I’m definitely going to use it.
