That’s a substantially different situation, I don’t see how you can reasonably equate Sony removing game data from people’s console post-purchase due to them no longer maintaining any servers to play on with Valve not letting you keep a game that was not properly paid for in the first place.
I’ve had my downloaded purchases from a humble bundle deleted from my PC after a couple days because the payment processor failed

I don’t see how a different situation has anything to do with it? Sorry it happened? You can make any judgement you want but the facts are the facts

What facts? You’re comparing Sony manually removing game data from accounts that had legitimate ownership of it with Steam automatically reversing the registration of a game you didn’t pay for. I’m sure you’ve done some serious mental gymnastics to justify whatever grudge you hold over the situation, but it’s entirely apples to oranges.

You’re the one holding the grudge lmao. I just told you it can happen

Exactly what did you expect to happen? Were you expecting to keep the games that you didn’t pay?
Arcane2077@sh.itjust.works 2 hours ago
I didn’t expect the payment to fail and I definitely didnt expect the games I started playing to be deleted from my harddrive. Are you trying to say you wouldn’t be surprised if something you didn’t know could happen until I informed you, happened?

I wouldn’t expect the payment to fail, but I wouldn’t be surprised either if I couldn’t keep games that I didn’t pay for. And I wouldn’t compare either this to sony removing games you paid for (without the payment being rejected).

Yeah, if Sony retroactively returned the payment I wouldn’t be quite as bothered
